Chapter editor screen

This page documents what happens when you click a specific chapter. The left sidebar remains visible with all chapters and the Add new chapter action.

Click a chapter in the left list.

The editor opens on the right. The chapters list stays visible.

Use the toolbar to format text; use the ⋮ menu for chapter options.

Sidebar

Add new chapter: create a new empty chapter and start writing.
Chapters list: all chapters are visible; the active one is highlighted.
Context menu (⋮): rename, preview, delete a chapter.

Editor canvas

Rich toolbar: font, bold/italic/underline, headings, lists, alignment.
Content area: write and format the chapter text.
Auto‑save: saves edits automatically with saving/saved indicators.

Rename chapter
Chapter preview
Delete chapter (confirmation required)

You can keep creating chapters with Add new chapter without leaving this editor. The current chapter switches for the new chapter while the sidebar updates.

Preview

Preview: opens a non‑published preview of this chapter.

Auto‑save is enabled by default so your edits persist automatically.
